Advantages Of A Beer Tower

By Helen McDonald

Nothing really beats hanging out with your friends and being able to enjoy your drink at your own pace and not having to call out to the waiter every now and then to get a refill. Every one you are hanging out would enjoy such a convenience as you all get to focus on the conversation while just drinking. The Beer Tower is a beverage dispenser that is place on a table that allows a group of people in the same setting to serve themselves beer at their own pace and in quantities they favor.

It is normally placed at the center of the table and the patrons get to serve themselves at their pleasure. The tower is also known as a giraffe because it has an elongated form. It is normally very tall and can hold up to three liters of beer. There are however varying sizes of the dispenser. Some can be small while others can hold up to more than three liters of alcohol.

It normally has a cooler at the bottom that keep the drink cool as the group enjoys it at their pace. Some dispensers have an ice tube right at its center. The tube is normally filled with ice while the outer part of the dispenser is filled with your drink. The cool center cools the beer that surrounds it in the dispenser. This ensures that the drink is cool throughout from the first sip to the very last.

Since the dispenser can hold several liters of beer, it will be a while before you or your mates will have to get to order another round. This means you get to spend more time together socializing while enjoying your drink. Your mind is at ease and is focused at the conversation at the table and is not distracted by an empty glass.

There are some towers that are pretty simple. They are not able to chill the drink. In such cases, a bar owner can buy chilling sticks. The sticks normally have a liquid in them that freezes over when the stick is stuck in the freezer. The stick is then put in the tower to cool the drink. It is not advisable to dunk ice into the drink as it is similar to adding water to the beer which will lower its quality.

Ordering beer served in a dispenser is cheaper than that is bottled. There are those who drink more than others in the group. They therefore complement each other. This also ensures that there is no waste. Once you open a bottle and you cannot finish, what is left is normally poured. You cannot pour it into the glass of your mate. It is unhygienic and terribly bad manners.

You can imagine if you feel that way, so are your friends. So in no time, the gathering stops having fun. The group starts to complain about the service and how they would rather another establishment where they do not have to worry about getting their drink on time.

The main point of having a bar is to make profit. So when an owner is having lots of sale on drinks and is not spending much on service, they increase their profit margin. This in turn makes their business lucrative thanks to the dispensers.
